Our Story

HOW IT ALL STARTED

In 2018, Jon & Megan Lowe returned home to the neighborhood where they both grew up to begin a new church. They remember when Noblesville and Westfield were much different places than what they have grown to today. They have experienced a front row seat to many of the victories and struggles of that growth. There are already churches here, and even the mayor of Westfield has expressed that he feels like Westfield is competitive to win the title for the most church start-ups per capita in the country! So why begin another new church?

Well, attending church on Sunday is pretty well a cultural norm for Hamilton County. But, there is a deeply rooted belief held among our team, even as it grows, that Jesus calls us to much more than attending church on Sunday. His call to a new way of life is something that changes every day of our lives by sending us on His mission to our circles; the people God has supernaturally and strategically placed on the front row of each our lives.

What would a church look like that consistently moved outside of our building walls and into our neighborhoods to begin and build relationships with those God has placed in our circle?

THE LIFE OF
NORTH CIRCLE CHURCH
IS EXPRESSED IN TWO WAYS

COLLECTIVE GATHERINGS

Sunday Gatherings are a sacred rhythm that God has given to us. Believers have been gathering together to encourage & equip each other, pray, & worship Jesus ever since the day of His Resurrection. When we collectively gather together, we always look for those who feel like they are on the outside and invite them in.

Our Sunday Gatherings last for about an hour, and each week includes: encouraging music, prayer, and relevant teaching from the Bible. We always have coffee and refreshments early, North Circle Kids offers classes from Nursery through 4th Grade, and we are constantly coming up with ways to get outside our walls and into the neighborhood.

NEIGHBORHOOD LOCATIONS

We believe Sunday Gatherings are vital to the life of our church, but our walk with Jesus can’t end there. Throughout the week, smaller groups of people gather in their neighborhoods to strengthen their relationships with each other, share meals at the same table, and study the teachings of Jesus.

God has called us to bring a gospel presence to every neighborhood in our circle of influence. We should love our neighbors with no strings attached - just because Jesus told us to. As this happens, we believe we will see concentric circles of gospel hope begin to saturate the city around us.

HOW DO WE MAKE DISCIPLES?

This is our pathway for each and every person who calls North Circle home. Your movement on the map is measured by how God works through the investment of others in your life. No matter where you start on this journey, we pray that our faith community helps repeat this process again and again for anyone who is searching for purpose and direction.
